11. What are the contents of the boot camp?
There will be sessions on Business Model Canvas and consultations on business pitching. Teams will then prepare their presentation and pitch to the panel of judges.
10. Do the team and I need to attend the boot camp?
YES, you have to attend the Boot Camp and it is one of the eligibility requirements to enter the pitching sessions.
9. I don’t have time for the entire programme. Can I just attend part of it?
NO, the whole team is required to participate in all the activities. The whole programme is designed to provide knowledge and experiences for the team to develop and expand their ideas and projects; and be ready to pitch to the panel of judges.
8. Does the programme only accept tech related start-ups?
NO, everyone is welcome to apply, but do bear in mind that the programme theme is “Creating a Social Impact through IR4.0 Innovation”.
7. Why would the teams want to apply for this programme?
To validate their ideas, customer needs, find market-product-fit or their first customer that is willing to test their innovation.
6. Our team has not incorporated a company. May we apply?
YES. The programme is opened to founding teams that have yet to incorporate companies, start-ups and early stage companies.
5. I have multiple ideas; can I submit more than one application?
NO, you only can submit one idea.
4. Can I join this programme as an individual?
NO. It is for teams consisting of 2 to 3 members.
3. Who are eligible to apply for this programme?
The team members must be Malaysian undergraduate students from any Higher Education Institutions (Government & Private) in Malaysia.
