DANA UJI BELI
MySTI
INTRODUCTION
Dana Uji Beli is a new fund introduced by MTDC in 2024, in line with MOSTI’s MySTI Programme, which was launched in 2023. The fund aims to promote local R&D products and services developed by Malaysian companies, with the ultimate goal of securing and fulfilling government procurement opportunities.
As a prerequisite, companies must first be awarded the MySTI logo along with a MySTI unique identification number before applying for Dana Uji Beli.
Eligible products and services will be deployed on a trial basis at a relevant Government Ministry or agency for a specific duration.
BASIC ELIGIBILITY
- The company has obtained the MySTI logo and certification.
- The company is registered with the Government e-Procurement system.
- The company has received a Letter of Intent or Indication of Intent from a Government Ministry or its agency.
- The company is a locally registered entity with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) under the Companies Act 2016.
- The company must be at least 51% Malaysian-owned.
ITEMS ELIGIBLE UNDER DUB
- Rental or subscription of the product/service for trial usage.
- Purchase and use of consumable or disposable products.
- Trial implementation costs.
- Other necessary costs as deemed appropriate.
- Other potential costs (subject to approval).
FUNDING QUANTUM
- The funding quantum depends on the overall project cost and is subject to the approval of the Jawatankuasa Kelulusan Dana (JKD), chaired by the Secretary General (KSU) of MOSTI.
PROJECT DURATION
- The project duration must not exceed 6 months.
FUNDING INSTRUMENT
- Grant
DISBURSEMENT PROCESS
- Disbursement is based on approved quotations and will be paid directly to the applicant company.
MONITORING PROCESS
- Recipients are required to submit a Monthly Performance Report throughout the trial period.
